The spectroscopy tool is intended to be an aid in doing spectroscopy. It
permits the user to select two row or column cuts through an image, and
display those two cuts and the difference between them. When the user
presses one of the Cursor buttons, the corresponding text
panel will be set the next time that the user clicks on a point in the
main, zoom, or values display.
DISCLAIMER: This
tool is in its preliminary release only. The user interface will be
made cleaner in a later release. The tool has not
been properly tested.
This display is not updated automatically. The user must press the
Plot It button or press a carriage return while entering
text in order to update the graph.
