Using the main menu

The main menu provides
six sub-menus, and two menu items. Hide will hide the
application, to provide more free space on the desk top.
Quit will exit from the application. It is normally visible
at the upper left corner of the screen.

Using the Info sub-menu

The info menu button brings up
the info panel to provide information about the program.
The info panel lists the authors and the release number of
the program. The help button provides
a quick and simple interface to the documentation.

Using the File menu

The file sub-menu is not currently used, but may be used
in a later release.

Using the Edit menu

The edit sub-menu provides text editing tools. These
commands may be used to select, cut, and paste various text fields.
See the NeXT documentation for more information.

Using the Tools menu

The tools menu allows the user to activate any of the
main tools that are provided by the ccd control program: The set up
panel, the
exposure-control panel, the main-display window, the
display-control panel, the zoom window, the plot
window, and the values window. Each tool is
described in its own section of the documentation. (The display control
panel does not have a separate manual section, because it is so
closely tied to the main
display window.)

Using the windows menu

The windows menu is a standard NeXT menu item. See the
NeXT documentation for more information.

Using the services menu

The services menu is a standard NeXT menu item. See
the NeXT documentation for more information.
